New thyssenkrupp organization structure
thyssenkrupp has reached an important milestone in our Strategic Way Forward.
Changing environments and markets are encouraging the sector to rethink its line-ups and business models. As globalization and digitization do not stop at our company boundaries, it is our mission at thyssenkrupp to think several steps ahead.
Effective October 1, we have taken the next step and streamlined our organization to make the fact that our Customers are at the center of our activities more visible. For this we have:
- organized ourselves in vertical segments and eliminated unnecessary management layers
- bundled all of our service activities in one business unit including a dedicated account management unit to speed up our efforts to provide with life-cycle services
- strengthened our regional units by moving physically closer to where our Clients’ business is
- and at the same time created a global resource pool combining our capabilities in all engineering disciplines to make us faster and more effective – anywhere, anytime.
Based on our brand promise engineering.tomorrow.together, we will use the expertise of our entire company to supply Clients with modern technology solutions. Our service business unit will support Customers over the whole life cycle of our products.
