Reorganization of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions

Reorganization of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions puts customers at the center

The business area Industrial Solutions, the engineering and construction arm of the thyssenkrupp Group is being reorganized as part of its transformation program “planets”. The name “planets” stands for “people leading a network of engineering technology and solutions”.

Jens Michael Wegmann, CEO of the Industrial Solutions business area: “We are operating in a challenging environment. With our new network structure, the expansion of service business and the reorganization of our business units we are putting customers at the center of our actions.”

Sven Mueller-Rinke, CEO of the Regional Cluster CIS: “The Russian local organization of Industrial Solutions, thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (RUS) LLC, will ultimately benefit from the improvements initiated in the German headquarter. The aim of the reorganization is to secure growth, enhance performance, focus more strongly on customers, markets, and drive culture change within the business area. A central element of this is the further development of the organizational structure towards a modern management structure focused on customers and business fields. To strengthen the capabilities of our local organizations in the regions is an explicit aim of the transformation program.”

Mikhail Kozlov, CEO of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (RUS) LLC: “To implement the strategy we have adopted a number of initiatives in the productive departments, as well as in our business development, sales and corporate management mindset. This is the basis for ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving our long-term goals.”

Industrial Solutions business area will then have eight business units: Industrial Specialties, Mining Technologies, Cement Technologies, Electrolysis & Polymers Technologies, Fertilizer Technologies, Services, Marine Systems and System Engineering. To strengthen service business (modernization, expansion and maintenance of production facilities, spare parts management, services at the construction site, etc.), the service activities of Industrial Solutions will for the first time be combined in the new Services business unit. The new structure will be implemented at the start of the new fiscal year on October 1, 2016.

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (RUS) will collaborate intensively with each business unit and other thyssenkrupp regional organizations to deliver the best product. We have set ambitious goal to have a strong local package of EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) competences to satisfy needs of Russian and international customers. We are sure that synergy of international technologies and Russian execution capabilities will provide our Customers a prime quality product and services at a very reasonable price.
